I'll tell you that I worked in mental health for 25+ years, being compelled to admit malingerers and manipulators, and that I had the personally-karmic (mis)fortune to be involved with some of the world's great liars and scoundrels. My own father was deemed a "sociopath". I've known alcoholics and addicts and seen hellish, self-induced miseries of human nature. I've been on a treadmill of stuck-ness and immobility in my own walk. I have lots of cause for cynicism, but.....
I would never say to anyone, no matter how reprehensible, "You'll never change." And at the moment, even if statistically the 3 words bore out some predictive value, I can't think of any more spiritually-brutal condemnation. It seems the same condemnation as "You're going to hell," from the mainstream syntax.
What sort of energy is sent out when we metaphorically bolt the door on someone's capacity to change? I think sometimes, and you can call me 'superstitious' if you want to, that we should take care in how we view each other (and of course ourselves).
As Michael himself said so eloquently years ago: if we are offended we are in the wrong. So naturally, as warriors it is incumbent upon us to let such condemnation roll off our feathers like drops of water. That part is easy, though ... I'm addressing instead what comes out of our mouths.

Here lies a choice, he or she has choosen a certain pattern of communication, a change require another "will" that create a choice that in its turn yield a change. Whatcould be a reason for change? It is a valid question, nothing to get offended by. Is it?

First, J, this post wasn't referencing your post, truly.
Second, it isn't about being offended. Because to be sure, out there in the mainstream, I never bought for a minute that I was "going to hell", for instance. No need to take that kind of indictment to heart -- nor the one about "not changing". I was thinking more of those of us who might be in the business of -- either professionally or avocationally -- facilitating or encouraging change, growth, or transformation. If the ones with that occupation bolt the door on anyone's capacity to change, then ... what weight does that carry energetically for the individual? It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy after a while. (At least that is the thesis I was presenting.)

No, no, what you said "wasn't so bad", and to put it in personal terms, you have a point. Many is the time I set up situations for myself where I can maintain my comfort zone! We can (usually unconsciously) set things up in the environment, in our path-of-motion, to never have to change!
Example: I cannot negotiate 80mph highways. I take the back roads instead. Therefore, I never learn to negotiate 80mph highways.
