just finished watching this tonight.

Beautifully done - wish I had one of those wide screen TVs.

Was fascinated to see that Gong Li was the nasty bitch geisha. I'm a big fan of Gong Li.

Julie of course has read the book, so she filled me in on the missing bits.

Also am fast becoming a fan of Michelle Yeoh - curious to see she comes from Ipoh in Malaysia - one of my most favourite night food markets in the world.
