I do not focus too much on past lives or upcoming lives. Because there is no guarantee I will get a new life. I might, and if I do I might be mad because coming back to earth is coming back to a battleground at times. We toil the ground, labor all our lives, and then we die. It is exhausting to the soul and all souls need a break eventually. Or they will get so worn out from 'this and that life' eventually they may expire. My goal is to retain my awareness, and have some choice in where I get to go, or how I get to go on.
I can only work at this and hope I achieve it.

Don't get me wrong there is a lot of good in life. To find love, to witness the Arizona sun set, to hold and pet a kitty, to have children and raise them, course when they become teens ugh :) lol. They're funner when they're small. Much good in life, but it does wear on the energy body. And if we really do live many lives, then this would wear us down coming and going as we do.
I tried to watch the movie Cloud Atlas. It is about reincarnation and life. It is a three hour movie.
I shut it off after 40 minutes.
It was made too difficult to follow. I read many reviews of the movie. Some people loved it, others hated it.
100 milliion dollar budget to make the movie and it is a loved and hated movie.
But I could not sit through it or understand it.
People who claim to understand past lives are full of it. We cannot know for certain, 100 % certain we lived before.
Oh sure, someone was cleopatra and another person a white knight. Others a druid.
Really?
I may have lived before, but parts of my 'essense,' ended back into the big pool, and I lost myself.
This is why it is important to retain our awareness so when we do die, we can direct ourselves in some way.
The Dalai Lama has managed to do this 13 times. He's had a lot of training.
I will try to do the same. I do not want to come back as a dog or alligator because I could not retain my awareness.
What a life that would be.

Oh sure if there was a pill who wouldn't? Why you think so many folks do drugs? Because they want to escape life and cannot cope with it.
But life is the true spot where we mold and shape ourselves in what is necessary so we can map out our life, and maybe the life in the hereafter.

They do drugs for many reasons. To escape the past, and some just want to have fun.
But they pay the price later.
I remember going on youtube with the kids and showed them progressions of what happens to someone when they use methamphetamines.
People are 20 and look 80, lose their teeth. It's disgusting.
They become phantoms in life, and are at the mercy of their drugs and their actions. It is one of the most foolish ways to avoid life and change.

The Buddhists believe so, so it is possible.
I think there is like a big cosmic pool and we enter into it, and all awareness goes there.
DJ called this the dark sea of awareness.
So when we rise up again to have a life, depending on various factors, we come back to life in some life form.
I am sure an animal is a possibility.
But like I said I am not too huge on past lives because we cannot know for certain. So I just try to work on retaining my awareness via dreaming and lucidity so I dont come back as something I do not want to be.
