Here are some shots of some baby ravens from a family of ravens I've come to know.  You can't really see from the pictures, but they had the softest tiniest brown fluffy feathers, like baby owls, so downy!  They look a bit like crows in some of these pics, but you should hear them!  lol I think they're still getting their raven voices, beacause they are kind of squawky little things, yet! Beautiful!

looks like this one is carrying a number two!

gorgeous! strange for all the crows around us here I rarely see young ones - perhaps because they don't hang around the house.

Just yesterday, the Black Cockatoos came into the valley - a swag of them, maybe about a dozen or more, with their eerie shrieks and languid flying like B52 bombers. It's such a trip to have them around - they are like winged sorcerers. We have a couple of White ones, but they are ratbags compared to the Yellow Tailed Black ones.

What a great pic!
In the air they look about twice the size of a raven. tho I expect that is due to their wing span. yet even on the ground, they are much bigger than the raven. The Red Tailed ones I have seen on the coast are slightly smaller.

Pretty picures
so complete
My Heart devours this
in Love replete

 ;D

Softer than down

Sweeter than spice

You know it's true
All birds sing
for me and you
They sing their
own sweet songs
and All bells ring
in their own ways
and Love always stays
for me and you

In town or outta town

Ev'rything's nice, and
Ravens Rave on, and
Crows truly caw
and life moves along

True Love is Raw

Au` Natural

No thing can
bring it down

Softer than down
True Love doth call
for us all

Isn't this just simply
who WE truly are?
(caw caw!)
The Voice of the Raven
delights one and all! ;D
