We've got to try
even though we know
that Warriors don't try
they just 'do'

Not plotting their course
but moving guided and strong
Spirit tells us
and shows us
in countless unfathomable ways
We are on the right road
for the moment

So, when the words
come back
and pen rushes, anxious
to once again make love
with the paper,
our hearts sing
and we smile
in Glorious celebration
that our voices
are once again
heard.

The power of the heart cannot be stopped
The Spirit speaks to the heart and it also listens
between the beats.

I think they call it syncopation

What a sweet sensation!

I understand to understand Spirit
and let it move as it may, and not to bind
it to foolish notions that would not let it's Freedom
shine and that I can't own such things that surely shine
and yet when I don't own them, I know they are mine

Ain't life so lovely and sweet!
