I didn't read all that, but the idea that we make the right decision more often if we don't interfere with our conscious mind - that I can vouch for. I have often seen in others and myself, when 'the body' wants to approach or do or choose something, but the wacky, bonkers, buggered-up conscious personality-mind swaggers in and stuffs the whole damn thing!
So much of our task is to tame the 'stupid self'. Nothing wrong with keeping it as a family pet, but its dethroning is our first threshold - till we transit that event, we are just pissing in the wind!
Then we can get down to acknowledging the sanity of our unconscious self.
