Sun entering the Northern Hemisphere
« on: January 12, 2010, 11:29:03 AM »
Sun Hat

Sharpen your arrows:

Tuesday - go back to Tensegrity (started up by Toltec Shamans from Mexico)
Wednesday - start on continuing your artwork for the 8 Sun spirits
Wednesday - write weekly post facebook about the Sun God, Surya and include all this stuff explaining about how we use our Sun Energy and the purpose of Toltec Stalkers
Thursday - carry on with Sun Paintings and visually integrate them into the Amber Bow theme and Hawk Medicine
Friday - take your Sun Hat with Hawk feathers with you in your bag so you can take them to Shri Surya Puja on Saturday to charge it up for the year
Saturday - go to Shri Surya Puja
Weekly - try to invest more attention to the crown so you can thread some more threads of the Kundalini to the flame above your head
Weekly - complete the 'Integrated Page - Sales' and 'Integrated Page - Operations' at work in order to form the front panel for the information integration of documents for these 2 Departments.

Set the scene & enter the Jungle:

Don’t feel shame for the outward expression of your vision no matter who critises it or declares it unrighteous
Dub the Sun
Shed out 8 forms of the Sun as Animal Medicines taking the Hawk Medicine at the integration point of your own Sun.

8 - Fox, dog, coyote, wolf, elk, horse, moose and antelope.

Create a prayer to align the 'father spirit' associated with the Sun

Forgive your Father for dying when you were 7, invite him to come and watch your personal play and how you dictate the scenery of your life...
Acknowledge the angels of the Crown, the Sahaja Yogis and forgive them for their general non-acceptance of anything beyond their inventory... (no room for the exploring child to express and connect his inner vision as the non-inspired take up Leadership positions
Align...

Get into thoughtless-action state and witness your core action and listen to what it tells you.

Build your sun tent out of the direct lines in relationship between you and the 8 Sun Warriors. Adorn this with an action. Give.

Start the Puja now, light the fire and offer to it all year round...

Lift up the Hunters by the scruff of their necks
Lift up the Stalkers by the crown

Invite in the 4 Winds, which are the 4 female Stalkers to hold back the sun and invite the robins and blue tits...

Remember Pranava and breathe the outward breath of life-force into the central axis...

Vision unfolding like feathers, the Dub of the Sun, the heart beat, the pulse, Reggae, the Pingala Nadi and golden harp

The Hunter-Sun:

A Process > Preparing the energy of the sun to hunt

·         Loosening & Mashing up the energy of the sun
·         Stirring the energy of the sun (Within the personal sphere & outside it)
·         Gathering the energy of the sun
·         Directing the energy of the sun

Comments > Whether it is the boredom of the time of year, or the longing for light and warmth that inspires us, or even a more universal cycle that nudges us – we all here in the Northern Hemisphere reach out to align our sun energy. We re-direct our selves (New Year Resolutions), we seek that holiday in the Summer and start to arrange it or we just fly off now and take one, we push our self to become more active and we try to set personal objectives. All these doings are part of using our sun energy.
Not all expression is benevolent but if we are not permitted to express then we deny our inner sun and this pent energy can generate anger and loss. I won’t be advising you on the right way and wrong way to use your sun energy or be discouraging you from your expression.
I am not expressing any of this to receive anything back either, it is just the *voice of knowledge* that runs through me. You each have yours too. I only invite you to mine as I offer a sharing of it and assume you like the content and focus.
As we express we share, we connect and map out the *outer* aligning threads within our personal cocoon with threads outside it. We reach outward whether it is in the form of earthy touch, golden sunlight-like thought, or in pure action un-bound by mental concepts.

The Dreamer-Sun:

The Sun enters the Northern Hemisphere 14th Jan...

A cloaked, hooded figure appears where you can't see his face. Just a silhouetted dark shadow of a figure quietly walking over the mountains of the morning...

The Gnostic Ark-Angel treads footprints in the snow and creates a new dream scene within each print. From this imprinted dent in the perfect snowy ground come luminous threads of light that unfold the energy of the new scenery.

He is holding the Sun between his left and right hands, held at his mid-section hidden from the see-able eye.

He crosses over into the Northern Hemisphere and contains the Sun at the same place within him. The Sun holds all the forms for the year's expression. The glow of fire kindles warm reflects but these aren't see-able - they are only felt flickering within the contained the motionless folds of his cloak.

He is the spirit of the day held within darkness awaiting the morning

And as Gabriel appears with the Mountain of the Morning in his hand and the light of the future... They meet. As Gabriel smiles a cloud-creating smile the Sun shines from his face emitting clarity as he makes everything known. Clarity and the honey of knowledge form into rays as he illuminates the world

MAKAR SANKRANTI
« Reply #2 on: January 14, 2010, 04:11:57 AM »
Makar-shankranti Sankranti means to go from one place to another place (to change
direction). It also means one meets another. The time when the sun
changes direction from one constellation (of the zodiac) to another is
known as Sankranti. Transition of the Sun from Sagittarius to Capricorn
during the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere (Uttarayana) is
known as Makar sankranti. Makar sankkranti is a festival with great
religious importance in india. It is celebrated in all parts of india
in different forms.

In southern India, this festival is celebrated as Pongal. In southern
it is celebrated as the harvesting time and a New Year. The day begins
with Surya Pongal or sun worship. The newly harvested corn is then
cooked for the first time. In fact, the sun itself stands for all the
ideals of the Pongal festival.
Its message is that of light, unity, equality and true selflessness. These are the ideals of Karma Yoga.
Hence, the sun is the greatest Karma Yogi. Does it ask any reward for
all that it gives to us? If it stops shedding its light, we are doomed
to death. If we learn this one lesson from the sun, our lives will
shine with divine lustre like that of the sun.

Devghat is a confluence of river Trishuli and river
Kaligandaki and is very significant religious Triveni. It is 6 Km
north of Narayanghat. Here all 7 holy Gandaki Rivers meet together
to form a Narayani River. Like Triveni of Ganges and Yamuna at
Alahabad in India Devghat is one of the main sites for the festival
of Makar Shankranti in Nepal. Many pilgrims from around Nepal and
India to immerse themselves in the river. Makar Shankrati is also
popularly known as Maghe Shankranti. It is first day of Nepali month
Magh (Mid January). In this place the demigods came to honor Lord
Vishnu when he saved Gajendra, an elephant from the attack of a
crocodile after hearing his prayers of devotion.

Kite Flying in western India, it is celebrated as a kite flying festival. People
wake up early in the morning, do pujas and rush towards their terraces
for flying kites. Also a rich variety of delicacies are prepared for
this festival.

In Northern india, it is celebrated as Lohri. Also At Sankranti time
great importance is attached to Ganga snaan (bathing with waters of the
river Ganges) and Surya Puja (worshipping the sun). Bathing,
worshipping gods, Havan, Japa, Fasting and Charity; each of these are
extremely holy deeds.

From Makar Sankranti onwards when the sun is travelling northwards,
innumerable auspicious things start happening. Climate and atmosphere
improve. Children born during this period are naturally progressive,
well mannered, pleasant and of noble disposition.

SUNSHINE AND JOY: Twirling, gliding, chasing the clouds. PHOTO: K.R. DEEPAK AND M.A. SRIRAM

If you were to ask a kite what it felt while it soared up in the skies, what do you think it would say? "I'm twirling and gliding on the whirl of winds, chasing the clouds, laughing down at the Earth, and before I float gently down, I will visit the lost balloons that made little children cry."

Looking up at kites flying, I wish I could be a kite, riding upon the wind and go whichever way the wind blew.

Celebration

Kites swaying to the choreography of the wind, vibrant colours dotting the azure blue, it's that time of the year again when your gaze heaven ward will see a kite-combat. Makar Sankranti on January 14, marks the ascendancy of the sun into the Northern Hemisphere. It signifies the receding of the winter chill. It turns you to face the sunshine and the liquid gold of a bountiful harvest. It marks an event where the gods seem to remind their children — "Tamaso Ma Jyotir Gamaya" — may you go higher and higher — to more and more light and never to darkness.

Makar means Capricorn and Sankranti means transition — when the sun passes into the next Zodiac sign. Transition of the sun from Sagittarius to Capricorn, during the Winter Solstice begins a six-month long Uttarayana, considered auspicious for attaining higher goals in life. Each state has its own way of celebrating Makar Sankranti.

Jaipur sees people taking a holy dip in the Galta ji, partaking of jaggery, sesame and rice preparations. Surrounded by fun and laughter, the spirited camaraderie is akin to the kites vying for space in the skies. New beginnings are made; the festival helps in maintaining social relationships within the family and the community. Familiar cries of "woh kata re" rend the skies. Kite flying is an integral part of the tourism activities in Rajasthan. The festival has taken on a different dimension with the state government stepping in. Kites have turned modern — we can see Aishwarya Rai, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchen on them. The Chinese have flown in here too.

It is believed that the ancient Indian tradition of kite flying was brought to India by Hiuen Tsang and Fa Hein when they came in the fourth and 7th Centuries A D. Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur had commissioned a kite making factory in the 16th Century to ensure continuity of the festival.

This is a day when all eyes look to the sky and there is much joy and cheer. And as the kite takes flight you can feel the wind tug it from your hands as it flies away to conquer the sky. Whether a patang, a guddi, a dedh kanni, a tukkal, kite flying day remains essentially a day of revelry. It makes sure that everyone has a good time and there are no regrets. A day you will always cherish in your memory.

Shri Mataji Nirmal Devi, Sankranti Puja, Rahuri, India 14/01/1987

>> When we start to witness the intent of action we can sense what certain acts are aligned to. By that I mean what intent they are aligned to.

Some believe that big flashy acts that hook a lot of attention are powerful. Our eye has been trained to look at and look for reaction.

For me, the act of a small child giving a gift or enjoying a little bird chirping from a branch can potentially have more power in it than a flashy act that draws the attention of a group of people. This is due to the act being pure and not based or crafted into an expected result. The act is just live, spontaneous and based on *now*

Each act has fibres of our energy & awareness in it. These fibres carry our vibration as we assert the act. Movement ripples the vibrations and the vibrations can carry affection, aggression, sadness, fear, violence, longing, peace, agitation, confidence, etc. Work it out / take a look. One way to realise more about what intent is behind the act is to witness what we assert our affection towards, what we assert our aggression towards – and how movement and assertion creates a room for connection whether it is intended or not.

We also need to consider the intent of thought and the integrated mind

As we age, we learn to grade acts and describe acts. We even learn about prioritising acts and thus we can make one single act or set of acts to be very very important indeed.
This is a mental agreement though. The acts that are deemed as greatly important are so only according to the integrated mind. Or... (Which is the same because we are making them important) we disagree and debate over the worthiness of the act.

We are sold to the belief that everything must be reasoned out and solved, and we are drawn into involvement with little space away from occurring acts to take a more hawk’s eye view of action as a whole.

Some of what I am writing here you will understand and some you won’t. This don’t matter, flow with it, it may not be my words that have value but more what thoughts stir in you.

The act of a soccer ball being kicked into the net is not an act of power, neither is a ball being run into or caught in the end-zone.
What makes these acts seem powerful is the power invested into witnessing them by such a mass of people, who are doing so because of deemable importances being promoted or demoted by the watcher.

There are so many more powerful acts going on in the world either behind the scenes or here openly for all to see. But our eye does not see. Well it does, but it only sees what is dictated to it via the voice of importance.

Acts are powerful generally but part of what I am getting at is the intent that summons that power. Acts dictate the energy, awareness and life-force around the personal cocoon or sphere that we perceive through.

We are the shape we are in awareness because our acts have commanded us that way, but what forges our continual momentum to act? The motion of it and the ability to pause it makes all the difference.

One thing of worth is to witness the intent each act is linked to when it occurs. As we align action to our body, what intent is being aligned to? What is shaping? What is important about it? Why is it important? What is the source of that importance?

The fact that we continually promote our personal importances to the world in a sort of *I need to convince you* manner is a form of vanity. There is a fog of vanity that keeps our attention caught up in it and the result is that a vast majority of our acts are conducted through the filter of mental importance.

What is missing from the integrated mind is the worth in undoing action and non-action.

What is needed is a mental unplugging from the dictatory importances. It is the unplugging of our attention from what is deemed important by the current integrated mind and politics that is required. There are no acts that count that you will see reported in the news. This field of panic, morbid updates on tragedy, glory moments and non-relevant data we see in the news is black and white ash that hasn't made it into the 2nd born world.

It isn't important. It is where the dead live as seen by the dust of the moth's wings and by the eye of the Phoenix
