Maybe we can talk here also about some of the silent things we can do to help affect change.  There are many many groups, associations, individuals and healers that have begun Global Meditations with the aim of healing the world and its people.

Definitely and thats another area I want to touch on as well - like what the elders are speaking about presently, or from in past, what meditations we can do for the earth to aid during this time. But really paying attention to these changes. Its about awareness. Like the honeybee and what einstein said. As the article gives, one third of what we eat (one per third bite), is because a honeybee pollinated something.

Wait til I get to the frog. Thats when I began to really open eyes about the ecological changes earth is facing

75% of Mother Earth’s body is water, just as 75% of our body is water. The more vibrant the water, the more sustainable the life force...

Throughout the world on this Mother’s Day, from New Zealand to Santa Cruz there is a simultaneous movement happening. Across the globe, individuals are creating intentions to share love and gratitude for the maternal life force, directly through waterways in support of all nature and our Mother Earth.
We are sending positive thoughts and intentin for healing the water throughout the planet as an act of respect and love for the Mother and ask you to please join us in this worldwide effort to honor and rejuvenate the water.

Wherever you are this Mother’s Day 2009, please share a simple intention with Mother Earth. We suggest gathering as groups at any waterway or if you are not able to be at a waterway, you may do so over a small container of water on the dawn of Mothers Day, May 10th.

This event was co-created with the Waitaha Nation Grandmothers, and is supported by the Center for Sacred Studies and the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers.

We encourage each location to host a gatherang to honor the mother in your area. Please post on Facebook, if possible, where and when your gathering will be held. If you'd like a flyer to send to your e-lists, please let us know and we will get this out to you.

Thank you for your support!

Peace in its most fundamental form is the connection of one human spirit to another
