How do you post the flash videos Nichi.
Hi Nik. I'm going to share Michael's most recent note about it - youtube recently changed their embed code.
On yt, click "Share", then "Embed" to get the embed code. Copy what comes up in the embed box.
Here, click the "Flash" icon (the wheel below the "B"). What comes up is this:
[f lash=200,200][/flash]
(I only separated some of the letters so it would show here in the post - don't you separate them.)
The "200,200" will be changed by you - those are the dimensions of what will post here. You can change it as you please, but I use the dimensions given in the embed code.
Here is what Michael shared about what to do next:
Youtube's embed code:
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/D34hZVoc09A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
should first become:
http://www.youtube.com/embed/D34hZVoc09A
[within the Flash tags]
then:
http://www.youtube.com/v/D34hZVoc09A
[manually change 'embed' to 'v']
So, you are culling out just the above portion of the embed code to place within the flash tags. In Michael's example, it should look like this:
[f lash=420,315]http://www.youtube.com/v/D34hZVoc09A[/flash]
(Again, I separated the 'f' and 'l' so you could see it - don't separate them when you're posting your video. Note the change from "200,200" to "420,315" as per the embed code.)
