Unbending Intent
« on: July 15, 2013, 08:26:20 PM »
Anything is possible if one wants it with unbending intent and you don't let your thoughts interfere.

Power comes only after we accept our fate without recriminations.

When one has nothing to lose, one becomes courageous. We are timid only when there is something we can still cling to.

A warrior doesn't seek anything for his solace, nor can he possibly leave anything to chance. A warrior actually affects the outcome of events by the force of his awareness and his unbending intent . ~The Second Ring of Power

Today I feel exhausted. I am trying to relax, drink a glass of wine, reading a bit, and so forth. But Spirit wants me to write on Unbending Intent.

Such an important topic. The absolute necessity to achieve the infinite. I am exhausted. At work I chatted with 56 people, wrote 100 emails in response to people, and I am to write on this? Help me out here! Give me a better topic.

LOL.

But it is an unbending intent that I attempt to write on this topic. Because I want to aid myself as well, but it may aid someone else. So I will give a personal experience on unbending intent.

When I was in high school, we had a dance coming up to present to the school. I had some girls with me, and we came up with a dance. I did the dance over and over and over and over. I worked the girls hard, over and over. Then came the dance, and we performed. It looked flawless to others, but in reality it took many dances to get it right and be prepared for that moment.

It took an unbending intent, to do the same thing every day, over and over. It was a means to an end. And with that, when we set an unbending intent, it is a means to an end. Decide what you want to do with it, and declare to Spirit your purpose. Spirit will gesture back. And once you get the gesture, set your unbending intent toward your goal.

It could be simple like you would want to learn something, like the guitar. You want to play in a rock band and became famous. I don't know if that is realistic, but set an unbending intent, and practice, practice, practice. Listen to other guitar players who are really good at what they do. And keep practicing. Then you will eventually get good. You may not end up in a rock band, but you might be able to play at the local bar every weekend.

In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable force which shamans call intent, and absolutely everything hat exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link.
~
Shamans knew of intent. When they would travel worlds they set their intent. When you are learning about the spiritual, you have set an unbending intent to discover truth.

I don't know if you will find the answers you seek. I don't think we need to know 'all' the answers. But we need enough answers to sustain us.

Intent is an energy like the force. Once we set a gesture to spirit, we have set up something as the unbending intent, to make our move to our goal. This will take work, and Spirit will work us over. But we can get to the goal, whatever it is you wish to achieve. But be prepared to do a lot of work, and it might even be painful. Keep in mind the pain is with a purpose. You will get to your goal!

Without intent we are leafs in the wind, just accepting our circumstances as they are. I understand sometimes we need to accept some circumstances. But you do not need to accept them all. If you are ignorant, you need to set an unbending intent to get wise. Then go out and seek wisdom. Wisdom will not come to you. Go grab it! Read, talk to wise people, do whatever you can to learn all you can to become wise. But do not sit back and let it all come to you. You may find yourself just waiting, with no intent, and no answers. And no wisdom. And no life.
