Tashi Delek
« on: April 01, 2008, 03:10:12 PM »
it's a strange feeling, to introduce myself to a soundless audience, it's a bit like talking to oneself i guess...

So here I am, stranded in a Forum, invited by a unknown Friend, who appear in my virtual world a few days ago.

Who I am, you may ask. So, lets see what i have find out (no gurantee for completness)...

Spirituality
Well at first i would say, I'm a Householder. In buddhist tradition a Householder is a person who follows a buddhist path in a allday life, mostly with family, children, job, etc...
At second i would say I'm a buddhist apprentice.
At third i would say I'm a Yogi. That's because it's my practice of following a buddhist path.

Interest
The orientation of my personality is almost top-heavy. Therefore I'm interest in all kind of sciences, especially in Theoretical Physics, Quantum- and Astro Physics. But also in some other strange ;) sciences like I-Ging, Kabbalah and Magic.

Profession
I'm IT Worker (what else)  :D

What do I think about myself
THAT'S a very interesting question (at least for me). Affected by the buddhist sight, it's a crucial point in my life to see whatever may arise as the play of space and compassion. That's (very simplified) my practise I try to cultivate in my allday life.

It should be enough self-portrayal for now.... Comments are highly welcome.  :)

Greetings to y'er all!
Isn't it funny how "coincidence" works? It's always a kind of "WYWIWYG" (what you want is what you get). Lucky the beings who mostly know what they want! So, that "coincidence" (which in my opinion never happens accidentally) is the reason that I'm here in this Forum. :)

Ahh...! How wonderful. A well known voice in space  :) Greetings to you Mayflow.

It's fine, that you recognize the meaning of that Bodhisattva name which the 17. Gyalwa Karmapa gave me in January 2000.

That Name differs from my first Refuge Name, Karma Ngedon Guamdso, wich means "ocean of deep awareness". These names are always a wonderfull refreshing source of inspiration and most precious to me, because they stand for a blueprint, to what i'm able to achieve in that life.
