Been awhile since I've been here. *blows dust off portal* its quiet. This place is such a net to catch some interesting people lol. I like the topics here, and sometimes the quiet. I dont like forums which are overly busy, cause I find people can be pretentious, continually trying to one up the other, throw around their 'knowledge' continually, proving themselves to be so smart, so intelligent, so spiritual, so deep.

Silly it can be right?

I go through moments where I have nothing to say. But my mind is always going. Once in awhile, I will write it out. I used to write continually, all the time. However I have found over the last five years or so, silence suits me. I like peace, tranquility, I like it when its just spirit and myself.

I am a spirit hog. I like to hog the spirit.

But I am always observing, seeking knowledge, attaining, and then, dropping just the same. There is so much over the last several years I have dropped. Some things do stick, some dont. And I find the simplest wisdom is best. Real simple things.

I have the belief we already know everything, its 'in us.' It is a matter of uncovering it, the truth, the answers.

Kind of like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, we have all the stuff to get home. Just have to take a long, hard journey, to realize it.

Life is short.

So short, I dont have time to screw around and play games. I take the path seriously. I study, books, people, everything. Even movies I select, I try to select those which I may learn something from.

Though I will indulge in a good chick flick or murder mystery, sure. :)

But I feel that my life, I have not got a clue how much time I have left. A coworker of mine was very young, and just passed away monday. He was engaged, and Im sure he had no clue it was his time (or was it), Aneurysm, a freak accident, a horrible way to be snatched in your prime. One day he was here and then not. Then the announcement over company email. So young. When I was his age, I just gave birth to my second kid. He will not know marriage, children, old age or retirement. He did not get to travel all over the place. We must be careful, cautious, and take the path seriously. We dont know how much time we have. When spirit will just 'snatch us" out of the blue. We must be prepared.

I dont have time to waste. I try to teach things to my kids about spirit. Wake them up, pay attention. Dont blow your life. Life is precious, it is fragile, it is not solid, it is not a sure thing, and by golly, it is not permanent. It is not static, it is just a death trap as it is. We are born into a death trap. Cause we are in this body until Father Time says the clock has struck 'your time' and it is up. So dont waste that precious time.

I see so many folks, you know, you see them. With their eyes glued to their cell phones. Texting, on internet, messaging. They eat with the phone, they shower with the phone some even! Continually with their nose in the phone. It drives me crazy! A trap of distraction. To myself, their is a force in the world - and it is not good - which wants us to waste our time. Flyers perhaps? The Foreign Installation. Whatever. A dark force, wants people to be distracted, with phones, tv, computers, and wasting time. If you will use those devices, use them for good and to grow in some way. But not for distraction. Not to empty your mind and fill it with gibberish. Fill it with something useful for your life. Fill it with wisdom, but dont play the game of distraction, because say you dont like life, or the distraction is compelling and fun. Know it is a trap, so when you die, you are weak willed, stupid, and eagle fodder. And cannot do anything.

Your cell phone wont save you from the beak and you cant text your way out of there. We are becoming a world of nonsense. So much, Ive seen it explode over the last ten years - the distraction. The dumbing down of the world.

One day, we will play with sticks and stones. Communicate by shouting across the way at each other. Travel on foot and blistered feet.

There will be nothing left. And all we attained, our advancements, our greatness, just dust in the wind.

Travel on foot and blistered feet.

Our friend the nurse who helped Julie so much in Trichy, told me yesterday that it is Tamil New Year, where they all walk bare foot to Samayapuram Mariamman Temple, twenty miles from Trichy. She and her whole family went, and they loved it! It's a big festival event for that city.

Endless - fancy seeing you again in here  :o.

i dreamed of a woman making a hammock made from sticks just before

she was showing me how

the sticks ends are made to a point which goes into an end piece of timber with holes notched out

which accommodate those points

the contour of those longer sticks fits in a molded way following a natural curvature

and after placing the other adjacent ends of the long sticks into the similar end notched pieces

in their mirror  such end opposite

they are bound together tightly pulling the ends towards each other fastening tightly using "string?" or the like

those sticks in their form

it was quite ingenious and earthly in its construction

perhaps i will try it when  i have time

i am returning to the earth tomorrow somewhat having dropped the residence in favor of a nomadic existence somewhat

i will be living by a river

i study those similar forms of simplicity often including it in my life

that balance

following that way

That's not likely - history shows that whatever man had made had been in use since and unless man destroys itself as a species or becomes prey to something in this reality there would be nothing for the species to do other than live in comfort of it's making which would become more and more sophisticated all the time - I highly doubt that we would return as a species to the cave man level.

But this is happening actually in countries like Africa in where they still use sticks and stones mostly to beat each other up, and what does the west is doing - offering them cell phones and internet; selling it's version of reality.

This is a highly addictive suck hole to be in the business of the western made doing - impossible to stop because all is depended in having more and more just for the sake of having it and nothing else.

But you may had been talking metaphorically perhaps about our next life as children - that I can accept, somehow.

Somewhat metaphorically. I dont believe we would lose all our intelligence, but if we ever had a really bad world war, it could be all we have left. It would take absolute disaster to do this. But technology going to far could also be the death of us. The distraction is coming with a price at this time. People are becoming connected to devices, and disconnected with people on a human level. This has been happening for quite some time and I dont know if we'll get out of this soon.

I sometimes wish I could do that. Live that way. In the meantime I work and have a little apt and it is near a river however. So I do like to go there from time to time and hang out. It can be very pretty this time of year. :)

i took a heap of books to give to the second hand type store "op shop"

i could not part with three

one the great barrier reef

two the seafood downunder cook book

three the food lovers atlas of the world

i picked them from the pile and changed my mind

sure i can find room for them on this trip

this morning i bought a cast iron camp oven that goes in the fire

i am noticing a pattern that involves men mainly in which they are drawn to nature to catch and get animals in hunting and fishing

i don't enjoy when they go woo hoo ! and turn it into a sport

hi fiveing their buddies and congratulating each other

they have kits of survival , vehicles , weapons , boats , all sorts of plans of attack ,

and many like to go fast in their vehicles , boat , car , jet ski , adrenalin fixes too

it becomes a popular culture

like the fishing television shows with more advertisements inside the viewing show and gadgets

and it becomes a social involvement and manly acceptable activity

i actually wondered if i was like them because of this

as the kit of tricks that is needed for catching and study of living outside of the television and social structure

i know we can fall both sides of that

far away and separated or  too close and blinded and plugged into the social strata

when we arrived here my friend the dog sushi became totally relaxed almost immediately on arriving

she even put herself straight to bed without any drama or whining about the new situation

i think she is pointing out that it is relaxing and sufficient for now

i felt the same way too i was glad we were both on the same wave length about it

there is a real yearning in the soul for that connection

not that other social and advertisement driven dream being sold

i have always felt this way

my grandfather says he did not sleep in a house or tent for years just laying on the earth in a wool press bag as a swag with my

grandmother with the earth piled up for  a pillow

he was born at the time of the depression here

one day they got a tent and shortly after

he caught pneumonia

having never had a problem before he blamed the tent

any way the next book i would like to find is jack absaloms camp oven cooking

dreams feel different i think its important to follow some dreams

circumstance force change and look bad some times

actually they give new twists on other wise dead ends

its ok to find the loose thread of adventure again and again

the world "wars" and things go on and on intensifying

i wonder at what point it is considered socially acceptable to accomodate the need for changes in trend of living

to steady the madness within to a point of dreamer coming upon the earth to dream wholesome - ly

a nourishing existence

money is a bugger of course in the scheme of it

i have seen mud crabs sell for 70 dollars each even up here in a fish and chip shop

there must be countless other exchangeable commodities businesses would accept in exchange with their own

eg farmers of fruit

a full walk away from societal good might be not possible however i feel a synergistic relationship beginning

where a combined merging of differently valued acceptances communally

except from an individually unique standpoint

not a trendy reinvention of the old system with a bio dynamic eco friendly twist

but an individual effort

like cuba during the exiled state of the misslie crisis sort of environment

every body just having a go

if the old system falls

it is good to be getting a head start on sustainable thinking

the politicians are panicking here you can tell when they begin to have to tell the truth even working together

i am speaking of the economy "and we were so lucky " for a long time

my path feels like pulling towards this direction

it makes the rest of my life make sense even my childhood dreams

I would say 'great minds' but I am probably not in his league. :) I know, it would be crazy. I hope that day will never come, and if it does, I hope I have passed on by then to miss it. Definitely dont want to be around to see the world go to shit one day.

I've realized, since my kids are older now (17 and 20), i need to take more of a warrior stance with the kids. The 20 year old has got himself into trouble all his life. It seems every time I offer a helping hand, I retract my hand back with bite marks and burns. My 17 year old, is coming of age, finds herself more mature for her age - which may be so - but is putting mom last for various things, unless wants something. This is typical, yet perhaps as a mother I was not prepared for this day. I am so used to them needing me - and they still do - but the needs have changed. And I have to learn to say "no" more. That can be difficult, because my nature with them is to nurture. But they are now adults (and one very close), so I have to retract that hand much sooner, to not get scathed.

It wont be easy, and I will have to set a new intent for this. But they are going to have to learn, I will not be walked on. I will be there, but I wont be walked on or taken advantage of anymore. It is time for them to grow up, understand I am not an ATM, and my time is valuable. I will not set aside time, only for it to be canceled on me, when I have made arrangements to see them (as this happens). If I set time and it is not met, I may not do it on their time clock again, but my own clock, with my own schedule. I am going to teach them there is no free lunch. Things were not handed to me in life. I had to go out and pave my own path, and do my own thing, to get to where I am at. They are going to have to find spirit eventually for guidance. I can guide, but I am quite limited in comparison to what spirit can do. They are going to have to get used to this type of mother. Not cold, no. Not like that. But one who does not wear footprints on her back to make a fashion statement. I will be there, in the dark recesses, the once-mother who was nurturing. But now I will be that bird in the nest, ready to kick the baby birds out of the nest to fly on their own. They will have to fly, or fall, they will have to figure their own thing out. As they are already doing this, flapping wings wildly in the rain, hoping to take off, I will have to show them, once and for all, there is a time and a season for all things, and flying when it is sunny out is probably better, and it is better to rest in the rain and avoid the lightning. Time to grow up, and stop using their mother, for various things. I am a giver by nature, it is my way. But I have to curtail this nature, and set the example first, and show them this is not an easy road. I will not be here forever. Hopefully they will listen to wisdom first, and not put their hands over their ears and lalala to drown out the noise. It is time to grow up, and stop playing adult one moment, then coming to me as child the next. They really are not children anymore, not in the little kids sense. They must be responsible, and learn that if they want something in life, getting it from me is not the answer. They have to find what they need another way.

I love what I do but I never do a great work  :D

LOL I have ranted before, but for the most part, I do love what I do. Working in customer service is very challenging, solving problems, I do that. Play detective, I do that too. Calm the waters, definitely do that often. People can get upset, when they arrive on my pc, or call the phone. I play the middle man, restore their faith in the company, solve their issue, and hopefully send them away with a smile on their face. It aint easy, but for the most part, Im good at this. :)

so what do you think about how DJ and Castaneda were against taking pictures of themselves, after all you do follow CC legacy, don't you think it violates the laws of it?

Well carlos did take pics of himself though. I dont think he was much for rules all the time, or holding to them himself.

I dont think it violates anything.
