Sometimes I get in the mood to put on a harmony, and the Beatles were great for that! They were a singer's band...

I'm thinking that, up until this point, the Beatles didn't avail themselves much of the advantages in the recording studio -- like doing voice-overs or retakes on tracks. Because their sound is really quite raw and ragged in places, heheh. Occasionally, one hears an outright bad note. But the melodies! I can see why their songs have been redone by so many different artists over the years.

dear Vicki,
it is too much songs in one batch.
I have no time right now to listening to all these videos.
Please portion your sharing in a more slow track. :)

Paul always was straight. In all those photos of them, Paul was always the most conservative looking - he never felt comfortable letting himself go. It's odd, the two straightest lived longest.
-
That is interesting. I wonder if it's "the even keel" factor....
-
I don't like to think so, but there may be something to it - not sure what.
I know of our two sister cats, Elfi died first, and she was by far the most intelligent, and adventurous in all matters perception, like taste.
I don't think Paul is long lived due to his being conservative - if you look at them, you can see he has a 'solid' etheric. One can have a solid etheric and still be adventurous. But adventure does bring its risks. Paul never interested me, I must say, and yet, I have no attraction for those wild 'out there' performers from the 50s, 60s and 70s who in their older age look like death warmed up.
I hold that one can do both - have an open and a solid soul. I use myself as an example.
