Many thankyou's for the flix, you all.  During my wintertime retreat I venture often out into the cold here to have it touch me, embrace me in its own mystery of almost a deathlike feeling.  It is staying at zero now and few go outside unless it is absolutely necessary.  They fear it because, like so many things in their life, they know not of it and wish not to.  It is their enemy, their demon and maybe devil.  They don't know of its power, its ability to crush sound into tiny particles that penetrate everything.  I take my truck out frm the human lights and often just sit with my window down and still myself, even sleep at times.  Now and then I walk down a half mile or so and come back, totally in my warriors gait.  With my fullest Moon now at hand this is most exhilarating event for me, greeting that awful monster, talking to him, letting him swallow me up, this cold people detest so intensely!  Ha.  What they are missing is beyond my scope of description.  Even the WJ knows I'm a little nutz but sees the gear I wear and knows I don't walk far without face mask.  Last night it was -28 windchill and the older pair of glasses I was wearing snapped apart when I got back in the warm truck.  Broke at the nose piece from the temp change.  I set a hot cup of coffee on my hood and it froze solid in less than 4 minutes. 

Monster?  Enemy?  Ha, my friend is alive and well, lifting last weeks' snow up to fall again a mile away as the crows pick through the stalks for a late supper bite.
