I liked that video. Good rythm, nice and steady voice, and a good looking artist ;D

Ahh, that must be why Larry had that glazed-over expression when I made him watch it last week!  :D

I have a bunch of P!nk CDs (note P!nk is actually with an !). I do like Adele but never bought her cd cause she is always on the radio. I do like her Skyfall song in the James Bond movie.  :)

Don't know if she's "pop". She would probably get considered "alternative".  Or maybe "Emo".
The original version of this is by "Daft Punk", and the 2 moods are completely different.

That was quite nice - i liked the mood and singing. It is just a pity it sounds so similar to so many other pieces on the market these days.

I never would have stumbled into it were it not for the following video, which is about the niece of my deceased friend, Kathy. The association with this video made the music a little more poignant than the usual commercial song... :)

I picture Tiana liking this one... Have you seen any of the long videos he made, featuring ordinary people doing long walks/dances towards the camera?

Not really my cup of tea (and not even Pop, but Country) but I love these (Swedish) women, Jill and Titiyo.

Run away-ay with me
Lost souls and reverie
Running wild and running free
Two kids, you and me

And I say
Hey, hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Renegades, renegades

Long live the pioneers
Rebels and mutineers
Go forth and have no fear
Come close the end is near

And I say
Hey, hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Renegades, renegades

All hail the underdogs
All hail the new kids
All hail the outlaws
Spielberg's and Kubrick's

It's our time to make a move
It's our time to make amends
It's our time to break the rules
Let's begin...

And I say
Hey, hey hey hey
Living like we're renegades
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Leaving like we're renegades
Renegades, renegades

Just in case the "VEVO" version can't be seen outside the US, here is another version, not quite as well-produced:

https://www.youtube.com/v/yN7QPph6IW8

That second line is "lost soul to reverie", not 'for every' as printed by the uploader.

The first link worked well.
Heh, one of my friends started a band (in the 1970's) called The Renegades - I can provide "evidence" later.

Good Music, and of course that type of message that youngsters want to hear.

As Stones from Beggars Banquet

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
 But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah, get down, baby
 Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
 But what's confusing you
Is just the nature of my game
Just as every cop is a criminal
 And all the sinners saints
 As heads is tails
 Just call me Lucifer
Cause I'm in need of some restraint
 So if you meet me
 Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
 Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste, um yeah

Agree!

When I hear people say "Music today sucks."  Or "Nobody makes good music anymore".  I just shake my head.  Really?  The world is at your fingertips!

Matisyahu - Sunshine
https://www.youtube.com/v/E_Vt4MlbM0c
https://youtu.be/E_Vt4MlbM0c

It's derivative, but perky.

Verse 1:
Keep on moving till the first rays of dawn
Keeping it on till the day stays strong
Morning till the night time blaze is on
All along I keep singing my song
I said, this phase is always
Sometimes I get so crazed
But just know that I'll always stay
Cause you're my light through the haze

Chorus:
It's time for a champion
Soothe the soul of the land
Mend the heart from the sea and the sand
Until the sun comes up again x2

Reach for the sky
Keep your eye on the prize
Forever in my mind
Be my golden sunshine
It's raining in your mind
So push them clouds aside
Forever by my side
You're my golden sunshine

Verse 2:
When the sun set I let myself down
Found the ground beneath my feet gone
No more words were there to speak
On that day my song was born
Never meant to leave you all alone
Said I'd be your shelter from the storm
Now your clothes have all been torn
Kingdom sacked attacked and dethroned

Chorus

Reach for the sky
Keep your eye on the prize
Be my golden sunshine
It's raining in your mind
So push them clouds aside
Forever by my side
You're my golden sunshine

It's the way of the world
You're on your own
Time to grow and be a man
Want to fly high like Peter Pan
No more Never Never Land
So lose your backpack filled with sand
Come along and take my hand
We'll walk together for forever

Reach for the sky
Keep your eye on the prize
Forever in my mind
Be my golden sunshine
It's raining in your mind
So push them clouds aside
Forever by my side
You're my golden sunshine

Reach for the sky
Keep your eye on the prize
Forever in my mind
Be my golden sunshine
It's raining in your mind
So push them clouds aside
Forever by my side
You're my golden sunshine

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Walk with me now, talk with me now, baby
Bo-bo-bo-bo-bo
Walk with me momma, talk with me now
(repeat)
