Your naked body
in the mirror
a double-edged reflection
re-flecting
Two of you
(Perhaps more
the deeper I look)
One high, one low
One up and one down
one protecting me
With strong solid arms
and one i had to run from
long, dark hallways in slow-mo
one keeping me safe
As I slept every night
And
One holding the knife
and slicing
body, and my heart
warm blood oozes
Squishy in my shoe
red jelly clots
on the
dirty
carpet

We are red because our egos glow with fire - we don't belong anywhere.

O, I am not surprised. I nearly used the word 'fire' in this poem. On second thought, I Deleted it, though.
"We are red because our egos glow with fire - we don't belong anywhere."
