Spindrift
The sea is a song
Its phrases are waves
the currents are strong
so... sailors be brave

The horizon is burning
- this burning is long
Somewhere the tide is turning
and we are learning to belong

I know - these words are but foam
spindrift from these days
as your ship sails alone
through the wind and billow haze

Yes... your ship must sail alone
the wind strumming on her stays  
till the singer and the song
are a sea of praise.
