Its so beautiful there where you live Tio, thanks for sharing a bit of your waterflow!

Im a bit envious of your moving water and warm temps as Im in the midst of frozen wonder... my bare feet are longing to walk against the earth.. if you return, would you do something for me?  Wiggle your toes into the sand and smile.

 ;) :-*

Hey Tio, that reminds me. I was reading a little while ago of much flooding and states of emergency afoot there. Has that happened in your area as well?

Tatiana the upper end of the valley I live in
really got hit hard all of the creek crossings
were washed away, landslips and road damage.
All of the long term residents (50 Yrs +)
say this was the biggest flood they've seen.
Raven I do all of my walks barefoot so there
was lots of mud and sand to wiggle my toes in,
and lots to smile about.
Took a young Korean Uni student on the walk
with us,he grew up in an apartment in a
big city, just kept saying "it's so beautiful"
Made him walk barefoot to.it's him holding the
crayfish( Lamington Spiny Crayfish or  Lamington
Blue)had lots of fun...

Stay safe there, T!
It's especially keen, though, to go walking after such a big storm ... Looks like you reaped the full benefits. :)
Here's to speedy recovery from the flood!

Yes!  :D :-*

Looks to be alot of wash out and damage, best wishes for a safe and speedy repair.

Wonderful to hear of you sharing your walk with someone who hasnt had such an adventure.. to step out of the city and into that mud will surely be something to remember!

People eat the crayfish here in the US.. are they edible there as well?
