Are you practising this technique?
It isn't that difficult to begin. Notice the foot movement is quite simple.
What amazes me is that in most dance training, the spin is done with the eyes fixed on a single spot, such that the head turns later and refocuses. This avoids the problem of head spin-out. Just try turning a little and you will see how you go dizzy.
The fascinating thing is that Sufi's don't use that technique, and yet that don't go dizzy. How is that possible?

Its easy to avoid. Its called 'spotting.' You have a fixed spot you focus on, and bring your head back to at all times. Thats why the head turns differently with the body. all dancers do it and it becomes natural, its how they can turn without stepping out of turn.
I think they use the technique, or maybe if they dont something else keeps them from spinning out and falling down. It might be a mystery.
