I never knew!

Oh yeah...i had to stop going into the Wombat enclosure to talk about them to the school children visiting Currumbin Sanctuary. One bugger would charge out and try and knock me over and would just push and push and push me around the pen, nipping at my boots. If attacked by dingos, they would crouch down in the mouth of their burrow or a hollow log, turn their rump to the teeth of the lunging dingo and then stand up on their stumpy legs, crushing its skull against the top of the burrow or log. Cool.

Currumbin Sanctuary ... would love to hear more stories, x, if you're ever in the mood.
