Title: Marshall Mathers
Post by: Ke-ke wan on August 23, 2010, 09:39:03 AM
Though very controversial,  I do believe he is one of the 'new children'.  A paradigm breaker, maracca shaker of the  sleepy comfort zone that many of us live in... I admire his artistic efforts as well as his desire to break free from a life of poverty, dysfunction, addiction in which he was born.  Also his determination to turn his life around to make it better for his child(ren) and the troubled souls that look to him for guidance.  imho

Are you serious Lori? You do know that praising Eminem is like praising Britney Spears?
They are people spoilt/ruined by the world of show business.

There's nothing inspiring in this song. The lyrics are just awful, the song is just like any other Eminem song, with the except of the chorus which sounds gay with the digital post-processing put into it.

Here's an inspiring thought: this video probably cost more to make then the two of us earn in a year combined.

Thanks for your comments, however I still think he is an amazing inspiration for a lot of people, especially since he stood up and quit doing drugs.  Not an easy thing to do, in his business -- especially when it is all around and basically free for the taking.

Doing drugs is a choice, you can't blame it on the "business".

Not blaming at all... just saying it's not easy to quit.  :P
