If you asked me if I wanted to watch a dog dancing on her hind legs for 3 minutes, my first thought would be that it was cruel to ask her to do so. But this one really seems to be enjoying herself. I could be wrong ... but she applied herself to learn a very complicated routine here.... And she does it with grace. What dogs do for us! :o And she dances the merengue better than I ever could. If nothing else, it's amazing.

Wiki:
The slow loris is any one of three species of loris classified in the genus Nycticebus: Sunda Slow Loris (Nycticebus coucang), Bengal Slow Loris (Nycticebus bengalensis) and Pygmy Slow Loris (Nycticebus pygmaeus). These slow-moving Strepsirhini primates range from Borneo and the southern Philippines in Southeast Asia, through Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, India (North Eastern India, Bengal), southern China (Yunnan area), and Thailand. They are hunted for their large eyes, which are prized for local traditional medicine, leaving them on the endangered species list. The Indonesian name, malu malu, can be translated as "shy one".
They exude a toxin as a protection from predators, and they are kept as pets in some parts of the world. This one lives in Russia:

Beautiful picture - life and death go always together. One thing does not subtract from another.

My friend at work knew about some videos:
Short promversion (look like cellphone quality)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbZe2TSkaP0
The whole gang together (with the "owner") in a good quality video. Heh, they are really friendly to each other, especially the cat toward the rat.

Ok, no doubt this elephant's mahout taught the elephant how to do this, but it's no less amazing for that. The elephant's addition of the legs to the opposite side is something even humans stumble over - and yet, the elephant expresses it. I wonder to myself, how can any of it be? How could an elephant appreciate the 2-dimensional? And by that, I don't mean that the 2-dimensional is a superior achievement - I just can't imagine it being of interest at all to him. But here he is, earning his keep from the good caretakers in Thailand, where conservation is strong for the elephant.
