My new batch of tea has arrived. Very exciting moment in the house!

The first opened and infused is Dragon Pearl.
"Eye of Phoenix is a spring-picked green tea with a fresh taste, soft texture and sweet jasmine aroma. Each pearl is laboriously rolled by hand into small balls in the shape of an eye and then kept until the jasmine blossoms. The tea absorbs the fragrant essence of the fresh jasmine, making the pearls sweet and aromatic.

The tea is made by laying fresh jasmine petals atop the tea leaves, then tea leaves atop more petals, and so on. Up to six layers of blossoms alternating with tea leaves are used to create the highest- quality jasmines, using flowers picked at their aromatic peak."

It is absolutely delicious!  After a long very hot day, we settle down to enjoy the first two infusions. then we'll go down to the creek for a swim. After which I'll do a long walk in the late afternoon light.

I'll let you know the others as I open them. :)
