Buddha and God and discord
« on: February 08, 2014, 04:52:00 AM »
So on facebook I am on some Buddhist groups so on the buddhism group I asked the question. I said I read you cannot become enlightened if you believe in God. Is that so? So lo and behold, I did not expect it from this group, but it started a ruckus, and someone got banned. They go to the Zen group, another one Im on, and say they got banned on that thread, or cause of it etc. I was like. OMG from Buddhists of all things! I am very tame in these groups. It does not seem the type of place to argue. So then I just spoke to some others and went my way. But I was quite shocked about the discord that errupted on the subject.

So im reading the Buddhism group on my newsfeed, and some dude posts, he is looking to get married, and if anyone knows a beautiful woman please let him know. OMG. Looking for women to marry in the Buddhism group? What does that have to do with Buddhism at all? Give me a break. I was so tempted to flame him but Im biting my tongue. I think Facebook has zoosk - go pay for it and find your lady there ugh!
