madness
« on: July 04, 2014, 10:41:15 AM »
one of the biggest tricks of the warrior is not lose his sanity. yet he sees madness at every turn. people trying to uphold their view of the world, and foist this upon everyone else, demanding agreement. with many agreements, self importance swells. with little agreement, anger emerges. the warrior must stablize his core and know himself. in the end he hopefully knows one can free their mind.

where stupid people try to assume control over everything

including others

and base others upon their own stupity within their attempts to control

and reduce others truth

the result is excruciatingly painful :)

those were my thoughts about it yesterday

and completely maddening i can attest

so is it "us " versus the world ?

not really "its " just us walking amongst that madness trying to

point

i liked something i saw hanging out the front of a church this week

it said  "the art of being wise is knowing what to overlook"

there comes a
Point of not control

But poignancy

picking the feet up and deciding where

And how
To walk where

I see
In aging

I grow
More
Comfortable in my
Skin

i can speak or act

And
Mostly not get a back lash

But the lash comes from outside

Thats the compromise for standing still

If
The wind does'nt move me in

One sphere

Say movement

Then i might rely on talking or listening

The two might not

Resonate in the same arena

being in my own skin means

i came to a point where i might speak sharply

As i
Might not be moving sharply for instance

As
I
Would generally
Spend time solitary
Or with animal company

I spent years being true to myself utterly in a movement sense

I tried the same, in my 20's, and had the luxury of doing so. But things impinged, and the acquisition of money became necessary. Even with working a conventional job, though, I found ways to meet all needs. It required straddling both - or many - worlds.

That gives something to use

It means self assurance through movement

as a relationship of self trust exists

while wind is blowing

many differing winds

i have put myself to face harsh winds too

Even at the same time

I can appreciate to be able to hear or use wind too

in the worlds

i can't claim one or the other

but the damn wind has always made me restless

At times twitchy even

especially others winds

that might be wise too as others awareness might be lacking

Of movement and wind

so
They may stick

there are different ways to move

Some like to bend

Some dissappear

I have Preferences i suppose all different kinds do

I feel that is a
Communication point also between individuals

Perhaps differen styles will shift different forces

For almost 10 years I wrote this poem:

Vresiga vindar

Ingen går riktigt säker i kväll

In Google translation with my (many) corrections:

Gruffy winds

This evening the wind is gruffy, it draws in the trees,
it pulls in every thicket, it rips in the grass where I stand
It brings a message, a sad song
how it was here on Earth once, a time long gone

Its anger, we can not mistaken that
its strength we can really understand
In this mood it may tilt many a fir
In such a wind gust, it could dish the town

No one is really sure out there tonight
one just huddle away from the storm and remain at home
I usually love when it whisper a secret
let me share of its glory

But now, the language is simple and clear
This is not a question of something wonderful
It grubs and tear, like a furious
As a wild tiger using it claws

I wonder who started the storm this night
did anyone tried to preserve his treasure
or a robber without a prey or boat
a person who could never say I'm sorry

I do not get wiser, it is better to go inside
let the storm to calm down and stop its spin
This wind has nothing to teach
it only says, soon it is over, and long gone

I
Enjoyed your poem jahn

so ill speak about the truth and the wind

simplicity and the wind

Power and the wind

life and the wind

And ill
Stitch up where the wind is getting in

One
Way or
The other

Power in truth

And simplicity

Today i hide from the wind

I expell it from its
Bothersome song

Something else i invite to play

A sweet song

Inside me
And outside me
Untill we are
The same

I am both open and closed to the wind so
That

The sweetness fills me

I in its strength

And nurture

Thank You Michael!
It was damn hard to translate, poems is so sensitive to the language they are written in.
But by your comment, I suppose the "feeling" of that certain storm came through.
And God knows, these kind of storms are more common now, compared to when I wrote that poem.
