Michael, did Indra do something irreparable in the Mahabharata which eventually made him fall out of favor?

Not sure what you mean. There were three parts to Indra's involvement in the Mahabharata.

First was his fathering of Arjuna. Next, because Karna (fathered by the sun Surya) was actually a better archer than Arjuna, Indra tricked Karna into giving up his golden breastplate that was a part of his body. This significantly weakened Karna. This was a fantastic scene, and certainly not one that showed Indra that well - Karna came off far more noble from this event. It is probably this event that you have heard about.

Lastly, Indra was of course present, as the lord of heaven, when Arjuna spent time there before the great war, but Indra played a fairly uncontentious role in that part.

We are reading it in the garden in then morning currently. We had a great section this morning with the amazing story of Amba and Bishma, where after such determination and suffering, Amba was reborn as Shikhandi who was destined to kill Bishma in the great war. It was an exhilarating tale. You can really see why Indians have loved this story of the Mahabharata for so long - it really is unsurpassed in its magic, wisdom, courage and spirituality.

Ok ok ok.

So is Krishna saying the darkness is required to pursue moksha?

While I can understand one would seek sure. I also dont think it has to be so dark.

I could list all the horrors but kids tho. Too far?

I do suspect krishna cares for kids greatly. And is sad folks would neglect them so incredibly bad.

I mean the USA is massive with the sacrifices. Too many.

But many are saying enough - and have been praying for it to stop. They dont know how.

I have said darkness is the absense of light. Its void of power. It must rob the light to have power. Our task is to stand up and stop giving away our light and power, and then we can defeat the darkness.

I understand that... maybe folks do run to God when its dark but.... the sadness and despair... Thats why even ash ran from wonderland but still does text she is in darkness im her light to the best of my ability.

But...im frustrated too few are being directed to actual LIGHT.

They need to be shifted to those who really are showing LIGHT not false light.

Enough. Make it easier for folks to find it cause the problem is being hypnotized and its not a fair fight.
