Meet the Wind
« on: May 18, 2007, 11:23:18 PM »
One of the first things Michael suggested introducing me to, in my work with him was getting to know the wind.

I stood outside and listened to how it spoke to the trees.. I became the trees and felt.

I slept outside to feel the night wind.

I watched the clouds move.

Entered storms to feel its strength.

Ive since gained an understanding and relationship with the wind that really is far beyond the words of our mortal minds.

One way Ive discovered to really feel the presense of the wind. Go outside on a very still day, remove your clothing.. give yourself over to the power of connecting.  Clothes give our ego security, they protect us from the elements.

Stand naked and find your center.. then whisper.. Wind will come.

Blessed Be.

Yesterday when I was doing some errands in the city i found that the wind was playing with a plastic bag just outside the business center that I was about to enter and I thought I should pick it up, just to help to keep the entrance tidy. But the wind moved the bag once again and I just didn't want to start chasing a phony little piece of plastic. So I said - if I shall pick up that bag you better stop blowing on it.

And then I focused on the bag. Did it move, should I go after it? Hunter mode triggered.
I took a few steps toward it, then it turned a bit, screwed itself restless, easy and ready to go in the playful wind, but it didn't move further away, so I took a few fast steps and caught it. Heheh.  ;D

Or simply chasing the wind?

I am extremely sensitive to the wind anyway. It talks to me or my body, especially when I am biking. It find its way into my clothes and are making trouble or it pushes me forward and increase my speed.

There were years when it could make me sick. Which seldom happens now.
