it took me awhile, to get an ear for this.  however once I did, his songs really spoke of his talent.  they say he sold his soul at the crossroads (Eric Clapton did his cover, "Cross Road Blues"), i happen to not subscribe to this point of view.  the recording is from the 30's (so keep that in mind) allot of his talent is lost in the recording, if you listen closely enough though you can hear it.  Enjoy!  If you want, check out the original "Crossroads Blues" song that Clapton covered.  Others are, "Come into my kitchen", ramblin man, if you have a good friend, love in vain.

You just might realise were allot of modern rock came from. 

Johnson's lyrics are incredible to.  They are melodic and follow perfect meter.  Students study this mans lyrics and have dysected them over the years....
