Don't know Boy George's story. What I get from this, though, was that he began to write the song in a spirit of mockery, but then couldn't follow through. So it's interesting to me -- he's sort of closet bhakti...  :)

Just swept through wiki and other google pages.  His life is sketched out in terms of drugs, subculture, and arrests. Not a word about his ideas or heart. What a shame.
