It's interesting that this was labeled "Bangali", who is usually in a more austere environment.

A yogi seated in a landscape; Deccan, second half 18th Century. May be a depiction of a Ragamala. Several include the iconography of a lone ascetic, including Bangal, Gaundmalar and Devgandhar raginis (and others).

I think the aspect I like best visually is the ascetic on the animal skin.
