Benny Goodman
« on: March 23, 2017, 03:49:28 AM »
I feel sure that this will be no one's cuppa, but I'm putting it up as a marker of time. Those of us who are baby boomers had parents who listened and danced to this music. Their generation. Which we pooh-poohed in our dutiful rebellion, but I've come to appreciate how complex and energetic it was.

That's Benny Goodman on Clarinet, Harry James on lead Trumpet, and Gene Krupa on drums. All were considered the cream of the crop.
