Merge into one being

MERGE INTO ONE BEING

I was possessed by love for the Kokopelli, and we were performing a sacred ceremony that would bring power to the everlasting flow of life. I was the symbol of all woman. His face glowed - changing, disappearing, reappearing. I closed my eyes and became aware of what was neither him nor me, but the power of the dream that stood behind us both. It was a union of the higher and lower selves and we were made one with all cosmic life. The flute seemed to play on by itself. As we lay on the stone alter, the hot night breeze blowing over us like an astral blanket, I looked up into the face of the Kokopelli and realized that I lay there alone - that by possessing him whom I had feared and wanted most, we had merged into one being, warrior and warrioress. I had mated with the warrior - the male - in myself.

FIND YOUR ESSENCE

Perhaps if you find the core your existence, the Godness inside you, the Great Mother inside you, perhaps it would be nothing except the spirit, the essence. And when you find that essence, you can move that essence into any shape that you desire.

KINSHIP

My mind followed a labyrinth of symbols, images, and primeval ideas, each somehow more fascinating than the last, yet behind each a terrible, aching loneliness. How few people ever surrender to a feeling of love, know it, breath it. And now out of that dark, karmic wheel, a bridge was being formed. I knew from that moment forward I would always know my kinship with these women. They were my sisterhood. I had found my circle.

Wildness

We were all born wild like a mountain lion, and to live in civilization we become sheep at a very young age. We become tame. But we are not house pets. We are fierce and wild by nature. Movement between one life situation and another is essential. Movement or action is the key that unlocks the door to understanding. Dream on this. Consider what is left of your instinctual nature. Remember that action is not reaction. It has a lodge of its own. When you see a horse, you become both happy and sad. That horse represents the wildness within yourself that you have never dared to become.

WHAT DOES YOUR FEAR LOOK LIKE?

Fear is part of the unknowable, part of the vast experience we cannot name, for much of our experience as human beings is unnameable. We talk around the feelings. We explain where and how we felt the feelings, but the feeling itself is part of the unknowable. It is something we cannot really touch. The nature of fear is unexplainable, because it is not really there. Fear is elusive and hides from you, but it is not part of the present.

STAND STILL

Stand within your circle. Turn to face those following you and look them square in the eye.
