Watched a doco about him. Very interesting. And how he couldn't get anywhere in the US because he was Chinese, so he returned to Hong Kong, and had trouble there because he had lived and worked in the US. Eventually, his talent made it impossible to ignore, and he began creating and directing etc. After that, Hollywood re-evaluated what they had failed to realise about him, and brought him back. But I don't recall what happened about that..

What really upset him, is he is the one who came up with the plot for the Kung Fu series. It was his idea. But they didn’t cast him. But took his idea. Claimed his accent was too strong, and Americans would not understand him.  They were racist and idiotic. Well, he showed them with success in Hong Kong and Enter the Dragon.  As far as the Chinese, no they ended up loving him. He’s still the most successful kung fu star. After he died, Hong Kong studios tried getting look alike to be in movies. They flopped. There will never be another Bruce Lee. But he made kung fu movies popular in the US and still are to this day.
