Mark Cloudfoot did a good repost tonight:

“ The greatest mistake is the vested interest in the dream of the world. As such there is a great expectation of how things should be in it. There’s an expectation of comfort and support. And there’s an expectation of the need to be respected and provided for. That is the greatest mistake of a lifetime. No matter what the dream of the world will always be the dream of the world. When you first incarnated it lured you in with such expectations. And you’ll find that all there is in the dream of the world are the lures of expectation. And many times when those expectations are fulfilled all they produce is erosion and decline.

The Warrior knows that there are other dreams of existence that is better to put your trust in. They don’t seek to tempt you or lure you with expectations as all you get is the temptation and the lure rather than the expectation. A Warrior removes oneself from the expectation that the dream of the world need be any particular thing to serve your needs. Rather the Warrior perceives the dream of the world as a place of testing to see if it is possible to remove oneself from the temptation, the lure and the expectation. Once that is accomplished, the Warrior sees the wider gamut of dreaming worlds and is freed from isolation proposed by the dream of the world.”
"A warrior doesn't seek anything for his solace, nor can he possibly leave anything to chance. A warrior actually affects the outcome of events by the force of his awareness and his unbending intent." - don Juan
