Bald Eagle

While sitting outside meditating a little while ago.. I had a bald eagle soar over head.. still gives me goosebumps thinking about it. Incredible.

Ive seen them from the mountain, but never here at my house.

I've noticed many different animals, wild and domestic coming nearer to me.  Even insects.  I thought it was just me and that I've changed so much, but maybe they're trying to tell us something.  Maybe it's becoming more difficult for them to survive as well.  Are they trying to catch our attention?  Warn us, that if we don't clean this place up, we will self destruct?  If only a Bald Eagle could fly down and perch next to our world leaders and have a little talk with them...:)

I agree!

One thing Ive been keenly aware of lately is observing others and where their attention sits.  I'm often shocked at what is missed completely.

For the past week Ive heard the faint sound of a wood harvester outside my home. Apx. 4-5 miles away.  When I drive thru the area on my way to town my heart hurts to look out at the huge pile of trees waiting to be carried away.. stripped and dead. Looking out into the woods is like a battle feild, as well as the road ways being littered up by travelers and workers.  The animals are moving.. I saw a fisher run from that area a few days ago.

I expand my sancturary with love for them to take cover.
