I probably should read up on him. I seem to remember he went to India with the Beatles. Folklore had it that he taught John Lennon some finger-picking. Could be a rumor, heheh.

One of the first songs I learned on the guitar was "Catch the Wind."   :)

I definitely didn't appreciate his rhythms on "There Is A Mountain". I wonder if he acknowledged any influences, like African...
