Whisper My Dream
© By Kathryn E. McClure-Vicars
Whisper, whisper to my ear.
For the glowing candlelight
Sitting on that window on a crisp summer night
Will blow the silent whisper over the gypsy moon,
To the lone waters of the deep,
To the dark hollows of the trees,
Into the still night.
Where only darkness can be shown.
And then it will creep over the dreams of meadows
Where wondrous music is sung with passion.
Sung so each note makes the whisper fly
Higher into the night
Where it will soon be in the heart of the dream.
The dream where fairy wings glitter,
Stardust glimmers
And moonlight evening rings.
That is where dreams will be.
