Kris and I are watching Black Widows weave their webs in his back yard next to the spa.  He just sprayed the entire area down when he cleaned the spa, finishing up about an hour ago, and these ladies have already spun intricate webs!

We almost ran into one ... I caught her shadow out of the corner of my eye and we made sure we didn't disturb her. :)  They seem hungry ... they're weaving fast and their bellies aren't very big.  There are two out there right now.

I have a few on my front porch.  I've been keeping an eye on them as well...beautiful little creatures :) ....

Oh!

I love these!   Back home, we have a tun of them, they are beautiful.  Interesting to to watch them as you are doing, they're behaviour is quite different than that of other spiders.  Ever seen a black widow and wolf spider fight?  Thats weird!
