War of the Words
« on: September 10, 2008, 01:39:51 AM »
Totality of vision holds the key,
against what the eye doth see
In sacred strength the drop prepares,
a profane illusion with cross to bare
Division of all that which is lost,
unable and unwilling to realize the cost

The door appears, the sky so clear.
The window shuts, the eye corrupts.
The key is dropped, bubble is popped.

Rain from storms and winds of shear
The flash is sought before sound appears
The gap is open, for all to hold dear
Until that day, they dance in fear

The closure of maw, the crack of the jaw
It thrills the dirt, which has no shirt
Legions in wait, untold to abate
Return to dust, this you must

But between the sheets, under the stare
Above the ladder, descending unto there
The whilst of ways spins the hours of days
and to end it there is to begin nowhere

Count the times of lines being drawn,
Label the facets of its golden dawn
Grasp at the straws of effigy,
Strike at the fires which make it breathe
Fly away to lands where it is not,
Fall upon the swords which it has wrought
