The Unseen Impulses of Intelligence
« on: March 25, 2009, 10:14:10 PM »
In your sleep your physical body rests and repairs itself. In dreams your emotional body carries out its wishes, fears, hopes, and fantasies. Your causal body returns to the world of light, which some people perceive as heaven. By others, however, it is perceived as the sudden solution to a problem or an insight that strikes out of the blue after they wake up. In all these ways you are resetting the intricate coordination among all your bodies.

The most creative act you will ever undertake is this act of creating yourself. It takes place on countless levels, seen and unseen. It marshals all the intelligence of the universe, compressing billions of years of knowledge into every second of life.

The history of the universe has brought us here to this second. We are the privileged children of creation, for whom all of this was made.

Cells are not the building blocks of life, nor are the atoms and molecules that cells can be broken down into. The body is built on invisible abstractions called information and energy–both of which are contained in your DNA.

Your physical body grew out of the surging impulse of life contained in DNA. Without this impulse, information and energy are inert. Likewise your thoughts and emotions flow into the world from the unseen impulses of intelligence that make up your subtlest body, the causal body.

The reason we all go to sleep at night is so that we can put all these bodies in order after the exertions of being awake and active. But the subtlest work of all is done in pure silence. Your awareness has slipped between the cracks of the physical, emotional, mental, and causal bodies. In deep silence we return to the ultimate cause, pure Being. There you come face-to-face with the womb of creation, the source of all that was, is, or will be, which is simply yourself.

Adapted from The Way of the Wizard: Twenty Spiritual Lessons for Creating the Life You Want, by Deepak Chopra (Harmony Books, 1995).
Without constant complete silence meditation - samadi - we lose ourselves in the game.  MM

That's a beautiful crop circle pattern. I saw another recently in The Guardian, that was quite spectacular. The article said something about the people who make these are getting so good at it they are also charging big bucks to have them done. First I heard about the people who make them, but I don't know how that fits with the UFO thing.
