Over the years, I've subscribed to many bird-focused magazines:
BirdWatcher's Digest, Audubon, Birder's World, and many others. Of them all,
Birder's World has the finest photography. In fact, the magazine really focuses on the photography of birds: birders talking equipment and trading tips, sharing their work, etc. etc. (It's all come such a long way, the art and technology therein.)
Anyway, I stumbled on this link and had to share.
Backyard Bird GalleryThese are the readers' pics (amateurs), and they range from the mundane to the superb. There are over 400, and it's worth the eye-candy on a rainy day --- assuming you love birds.
They are mostly N.American birds, though I see the occassional European photo.
