I don't have as many of the others. I've overlooked/omitted a lot of the others, biased towards Todi. But in truth, I'm thinking back and concluding that "Todi" was a favorite among the artists...

Anyway, I'll copy over the others in the next few days.

Todi Rasa:
'Todi is nearly always shown as a gentle, beautiful woman, holding a veena and standing in a lovely green forest, surrounded by deers. Kaufman cites the Sangita-Darpana "With a fair erect body like the white lotus, and delicate like the gleaming dew drop, Todi holds the vina and provides fun and frolic to the deer deep in the forest. Her body is anointed with saffron and camphor" '

I should put up an example of these ragas.

Rasa:"Mood of delighted adoration in a gentle, loving sentiment".

Here is one of our most loved tracks - we often put this on when we want something soothing and peaceful.

I also am very fond of Vilayat Khan's playing: He seems to underplay, with much space between notes. He has a delightful non-dramatic style. I tell myself I want to play more like him, but I never can contain myself enough. I see him in the old, timeless style of Indian musicians - nothing special, just a relaxed and endless flowing of the Ganga.
