You make things very complicated Ian. Hypothesis, notes of emotional states etc.
But perhaps your way is that "clever". Yes, the key lies in awareness.
It just sounds complicated.
It is the easiest way for me that I have found so far many things that others claim would be easier are harder for me. Perhaps it is a matter of perspective.
