actually this raises an interesting thing about heroes.

heroes do inspire us, and so we should be diligent in choosing them. it is a worthwhile pursuit to find heroes that are truly inspiring, instead of simply 'heroes of glamour'. We should dig deeper to find heroes that will inspire us with energy to reach beyond ourselves.

By studying heroes we are able to reflect a light back upon ourselves, which can awaken hidden destinies we carry over from before this life, and lie dormant, until awakened by the magical touch of a hero.

The danger comes when we believe in the glamour of being a hero, and as I said almost everyone who starts on the path, has a sneaking desire to 'show them'. We choose a road to salvage a pride that can't be satisfied in a world to which we don't belong.

But on this road stands death, and under its impact our heroism is impaled on the board of sacrifice - what we leave behind, to walk on with nothing to defend.

Still even then we seek out great people who have pitted their integrity against overwhelming odds, and survived intact - we seek them as in our own small path, we are also struggling to survive, to hold and grow our light in the world wind.

we are heroes for our ancestors deepest longing.
