Hans Heysen - this are typical of the trees we saw in South Australia where Hans painted them.

I must say, as I drove through South Australia, I couldn't take my eyes off the trees - so old and so Australian. Seems the only wealth they have going for them, but what more weird, is they appreciate the - not in any way undervalued, due to the paintings of Hans himself. But he also painted darker, mystical yearning aspects.
