Not Alone In The Dark
Looking At What We Don’t Want To See

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2008/12092.html

It is one of life's great paradoxes that the things we don't want to look at in ourselves are the very things we need to look at in order to know ourselves better and to become more fully who we are. The feelings that make us want to run away are buried treasure full of energy and inspiration if we are willing to look. These feelings come in many forms, from strange images or snippets of information to recurring dreams and feelings that rise up seemingly without a reason. Whatever shape they come in, and no matter how scary they seem, these messengers bring the information we need in order to grow.

When we are tired of pushing something down, or trying to run away from it, a good first step is to write down what we think we are avoiding. Often this turns out to be only the surface of the issue or a symbol of something else. Expressing ourselves fully on paper is a safe way to begin exploring the murky territory of the unconscious. The coolness of the intellect can give us the distance we need to read what we have written and feel less afraid of it. It helps if we remember that no matter how dark or negative our thoughts or feelings may be, these are energies shared by all humanity. We are not alone in the dark, and all the gurus and teachers we admire had to go through their own unprocessed emotional territory in order to come out the other side brighter and wiser. This can give us the courage we need to open the treasure chest of what we have been avoiding.

Within the parts of ourselves that we don't want to look at, there are emotions that need to be felt. Unfelt emotions are stuck energy, and when we leave emotions unprocessed, we deprive ourselves of access to that energy. When we feel strong enough, we can begin the process of feeling those emotions, on our own or with guidance from a spiritual counselor. It is through this work that the buried treasure of energy and inspiration will pour forth from our hearts, giving us the courage to look at all the parts of ourselves with insight and compassion.

You are boring me Endless~Knot.

You might be bored because you think you are so advanced and above all this, which would be quite arrogant of you.

However others may find value in the articles I choose, or what I have to say, or some words of wisdom I may share, which I believe is more important than your opinion of what I am doing in here.

It is like when you were criticizing my quotes elsewhere, which came with graphics, all you could do is criticize. I return and am writing and posting things, and at first you say good thing I am not being a 'zombie' anymore. Now, I post something, and all you could do is criticize my efforts.

I think what you need to do is take a hard look and analyze why you feel the need to single me out in my efforts, as you have not criticized others the same. They post a quote, you either say nothing, or you comment positively. I do, and you criticize it, find something wrong, and even deny the author may have said the quote. You criticize the art used with the quote. And now you are criticizing my chosen articles as boring.

However I have checked the log and people are reading what I post. And even older articles I have written they are reading. So what I do may not be your cup of tea. However, I am not going to alter what I do, just because you are critical or say you are bored. I have to go with my heart, and I will choose what I feel I s of value and may help someone, and this I will do as I see fit.

I am not here to make friends. I am here for other reasons which is of no concern to you.

I really don't like dropping in right now.

It's damn hot here.

My single thought is that the west is sometimes, the male west, too often heavy.

This in respect to our host.

It's not that it's the only truth, it's not the only truth but its important.

By the way endless~knot, you are not the only one being pressured and critisized, do not think that on any instant.  ;D

Just saying this with a hope of simplification (and why not further under-standing).

Everyone is in his own trail for one true/real thing. It's the riddle of the heart.

Sorry its hot out there. Later in the day it will be pretty hot out here too. Just trying to survive the summer and not dehydrate.

I really am pretty unconcerned if he is critical, and you should be too. There are always going to be cynics in the world in what we do and how we express ourselves.

Some people grow in pretty gardens. How I see my growth is like a lotus growing through the crack of the sidewalk. A miracle, I can shine my petals in the sun. And it has not been easy for me, the growth, which seemed against the odds, but I have managed to squeeze through the crack and see the light on things. This has taken many years and a lot of soul searching, but I am getting there.

The only reason I pointed out his criticism is because it is ridiculous to do so. He knows he is glad I am participating; he should also be glad I am. I can go for even a year of hardly saying anything. Then I will feel the need to express myself. Lately I have felt wordy. Perhaps there is something going on with my astro chart which is the reason. I will have to check Mercury for it.

If he is being critical of you I would not be concerned with it. You're doing fine. Just keep doing what you are doing, how you see fit. Eventually all of us can bloom in the sun if we wish to. How we all go about it is different, but all can do it.

This is my horoscope today based on astro.com my chart:

Quote
Hurtful argument **
During this time you should be careful and keep a tight rein on yourself - especially if you are anyway of a spirited disposition. If you are after some kind of "conquest", it is quite possible that under this influence you ignore warning signs and advance too directly and abruptly. There is also the danger, at the moment, that you sense competition or opposition where there is none. If you are too sensitive and quick-tempered, take every criticism personally and react in an offended manner, then around every corner is an enemy, and every conversation can turn into an argument in which you finally - without reason and probably without conscious intent - hurt others and are presumably yourself hurt to the same extent.

It is very interesting this is my horoscope, esp. since Michael choose to criticize my work in here and say he was bored. Then elsewhere criticize my choices of quotes and graphics. I suppose spirit saw it coming. This is simply not even Michael teaching a lesson, But Spirit using Michael, and how I react is the test. I feel I passed the test because if this would have happened five years ago, I would have told him to fuck off and get stuffed for being such a blowhard. Instead, I see Michael is being impeccable and using a strategy for my own growth. For that I thank him, and I am thankful I passed the 'test' presented to be by Spirit. This shows I have grown leaps and bounds.

You are boring me Endless~Knot.

I think one of the reasons you are being critical is you expect more out of me, because you have worked with me for many years. I have learned many lessons from you, and have incorporated those many lessons into my life. I respect that and understand you may like me to express myself in what you may deem is in a more meaningful way, and also geared toward better growth. Please know right now I am doing the best I can under my circumstances. I had been silent for awhile because I was busy experiencing life in my own way, which left me speechless in experiencing, and all the changes I had been going through. As of late, Spirit has shown up a little more strong, even represented in the sign of my horoscope with the mars op chiron. I am presently trying to dust the link of that connection, so I can strengthen whatever may be my purpose. In here and elsewhere I am working on expressing myself, in the best way I can. I know you have your own way of expressing yourself and I respect that. Please bear with me as it has been a long time since I have really wrote much on the forums about spiritual matters. I am doing this the best way I know how. I feel Spirit wishes me to write and express, and create if you will. However spirit does not exactly tell me what to say, or do. I have to really continue to dust this link to find out what I am to do. So please bear with me as I am finding my way, for now. I am doing the best I can with the best of my ability. It may not be up to snuff, or you may think I can do better. But for now, I have to have a little growth here and there. I am just a lotus growing through the crack of the sidewalk, seeking the sun.

Consider this Michael talking as, soul. Using his voice, how to say it. ..

I have natal Mars in libra. (*raises eyebrows)*

P.S. ..And I can feel too much.

Edit:no moon opposition ascendant, I thought so, just one moon square Uranus and a sun square saturn.

Its been awhile but Im pretty sure mars is exaulted in Libra so its a good mars to have.

because the moon conjuncts the descendant during this transit, which goes to the 7th house, this usually has to do with interactions with women one on one which can be difficult.

yeah well whether he likes it or not, Michael has mars in scorpio and so do I. his is in the first house, and mine in the 12th house. So big difference in how it is expressed.

The ascendant is our persona in the world and the descendant is how we use our persona to interact with others, primarily in one to one encounters. When the moon is conjunct the descendant and opposite the ascendant it is two fold. It can bring about some of the subscious buried within to the surface (moon opposition ascendant), and for others in one to one encounters, usually there will be a female encounter which will occur (moon conjunct Descendant). Because the moon travels so quickly this typically will only last part of the day.

Sorry, probably you didn't catch the edit although you quoted it.

I thought I had moon opposition ascendand but checked astro com and figured the transits I have.

These moon ones are transient though.

Well, when they are as selected (by astro com) I read them, but usually there are too many moon transits every day.
