I remember when I told you about it

It all seems so long ago

I watched a clip of a docudrama on tv today and i remember
a few lifetimes ago
Was my birthday
And then the commercial break told me
That we had to come back to re-learn some technical things
Techy stuff that we may have already known but forgotten
Or is it gone but not forgotten
or not gone and not either forgotten

We remember every day
little bits and pieces
and even though they sometimes don't make sense in a linear timeline of events
these memory snaps
of previous occurrences
are still definitely as real as real can be
