Who would be without our mothers ?

Who would be without our mothers ?

Somewhere else ,or perhaps some other ?

Would it have even matter if you were ten feet tall ?

Or would she still ignore you like you as though you were nothing at all?

And if only for a second..

Do you think it might be possible for her to smile, and know that she meant it  ?

Or is this what happens at the end of the day ?

When you’ve said all you can..
                                                                  and times flown away..

My mom died when I was young
(and dad did too)
and this really bothered me
for many years

I had so many dreams where it
wasn't true and
she was really alive
in spite of the seeming truth

One day I realized something;
My mom didn't mean to,
She didn't do it on purpose...
but by dying... she set me free :)

Mine was already dead before I was born
And now she sits in the back room with a face full of storms
Storms sent my way because I refuse to compromise
And have eyes stolen the same way
When her illusion didn't die

My fathers a martian though and that fine
Hes the only man I know who'll stop for mushroom
Before his heart been broken
