What can our breath tell us about ourselves? Should one regulate the breath or not? How to apporach yoga so as to not get stuck...and what might these traps be?

Who takes interest in these things, could find some interesting and helpful insights in the book of Bruce Frantzis.

Taoist yoga is ancient China’s soft yet powerful alternative to what is popularly known today as hatha yoga. The system Frantzis has developed to teach China’s yoga is called Longevity Breathing® yoga. Its primary emphasis is to stimulate the flow of chi and free blocked energy. Combining gentle postures and Longevity Breathing techniques systematically opens the body’s energy channels, thereby activating and stimulating chi flow. Postures, held from two to five minutes, require virtually no muscular effort. This lets you easily focus on what is internal so you can feel where the chi is blocked and gently free it up.
