Very nice piece of music. Why he would want a pop filter when singing from that distance is a mystery, but he sung it really well. The piano player was excellent! Did you ever wonder why they turn those condenser mics upside down for the sexto chorus? They sang beautifully. All in all a beautiful track.

!  I was so impressed too. Now, to hope for them that they don't go the way of crass "disco" recordings. They have so much going for them.

Did you ever wonder why they turn those condenser mics upside down for the sexto chorus?

Can't quite reason it through: maybe to reduce any natural reverb?

We naturally expel air downwards, although we speak and sing straight out. Placing the mic down from above avoids it getting in the way of the p and b air rush.
